Day 37 – I Choose To Prioritize

Thursday, May 26

As we draw near the close of our 40-day fast in preparation for the Together Conference, let’s go back to where we began, and remind ourselves of why we have committed to this season of prayer, and why we are hosting this event. Hundreds of hungry hearts desiring to encounter the living God will gather among us next week, as will many wounded, hurting women in need of healing, and lots of lonely souls in need of friends. Every woman coming is a life full of God’s greatness, but most have yet to be unlocked. The Lord has entrusted us with stewarding three nights and two whole days of ministry with these precious daughters of His—this is no small thing; it is full of purpose and potential!  Let’s choose to see our sisters through the lens of God’s love and destiny for them, allowing our hearts to burn with intercession on their behalf. Powerful breakthroughs are coming!

“He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything.” – Colossians 1:18

“And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.” – Philippians 1:9-11

“Is any one of you in trouble? [She] should pray. Is anyone happy? Let [her] sing songs of praise. Is any one of you sick? [She] should call the elders of the church to pray over [her] and anoint [her] with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise [her] up. If [she] has sinned, [she] will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous [woman] is powerful and effective.” – James 5:13-16

  • We keep priorities in proper order, and among all our Together Conference preparations, we give preeminence to cultivating an atmosphere that is welcoming to the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
    • Ask the Lord if there is anything (else) He might have you fast this week to help you prepare the atmosphere of your heart and, consequently, the spiritual atmosphere for the conference.
  • For an awakening of our spiritual senses, enabling us to discern the needs of the women among us, and discern and follow through with the desired direction of the Holy Spirit in each ministry time for meeting those needs.
  • For powerful breakthroughs in the life of every woman present, resulting in deliverance, healing, hope, rest, joy, and spiritual growth. And may God receive the glory for it all!

I choose to give priority to the presence of God. In my personal life and among my sisters at the Together Conference, I will make room for the ministry of the Holy Spirit. Thank You, Lord, for responding to my intercession; we give You the glory for every breakthrough.
