Prior to Jesus’ arrival, God raised up a forerunner prophetic voice to speak to hearts and situations through prayer, preparing the way for the ministry of Jesus. Before revivalist Charles Finney preached, Father Daniel Nash, spent weeks in intercession to prepare the region for the Lord’s visitation. Frank Bartleman helped prepare the way in prayer for the ministry of Azusa’s William Seymour. Daniel fasted and prayed so the prophesied deliverance of his people could come to pass. And until Jesus came, Anna spent herself in day and night fasting and prayer, prophesying the arrival of the long awaited Messiah. Let us women take our places on the wall of intercession, to prepare the way of the Lord—and not relent—until we experience His glory among all those participating in Together 2016.

We hear so much about the “war on women,” but this phrase should not be reduced to the realm of politics. From the beginning of time, the enemy of our souls has been waging a real spiritual war against women. It is God, however, who declared this war, and through Jesus’ finished work on the cross, He has also already won the war! The Lord now invites us into partnership with Him to secure Jesus’ victory over the souls of women, by contending through intercession for their destiny in Him. Because we love our sisters, we war on their behalf.

To each woman who has said yes to this 40-day fast, the Lord now commands your strength. Deborah, arise in strength! Esther, approach the King in confidence! Be strong and courageous; it’s time to slay some giants. Let’s say no to fear and yes to faith and peace, taking captive every anxious thought, and pushing back the ‘pushback’ though prayer. On behalf of Pastor Becky and the Trinity conference team, declare the women are coming and this conference will exceed our expectations! For every woman attending, decree breakthrough and healing. And to every giant of opposition you are personally facing today, rise up and say, “My God wins!”
Day 6 – Monday, April 25
Our God is the greatest visionary and dreamer of all time, and He created us with the ability to dream. The Lord delights in our dreaming and rejoices as we passionately pursue His vision. Today, let’s take time to turn off the distractions, quiet our souls, and dream with God—not just for ourselves—let’s dream with God for our girlfriends!
Day 5 – Sunday, April 24
If not quickly and properly dealt with, life’s pain and disappointments have a way of rooting themselves deeply within us and causing our hearts to suffer. Cynicism, anger, hopelessness, fear—Proverbs 13:12 says, “Hope deferred makes the heart sick…”, but it doesn’t end there! Your diagnosis can change! God has promised healing to the brokenhearted and restoration to those seemingly hopeless situations. Both for yourself and for your sisters, take hold of the “hope rope” the Lord is extending to heal, uplift and set you free.
Day 4 – Saturday, April 23
Trusting in God is simply believing that He loves you, He is a good Father, and He has the power and desire to help you. You may find you’ve put more trust in yourself, other people, finances, government, etc. But today, the Lord is inviting you to turn your trust toward Him—both for yourself and for your sisters. Father longs to lavish His unconditional love, vast wisdom and limitless supply upon every area of need. Trust is the key that gives God entry; let’s choose to trust in Him.

Think about the woman with the issue of blood. And the adulterous woman about to be stoned. Each time, Jesus paused to see beyond himself and be the answer she was desperately seeking. Ruth also paused to see, love, and do life together with Naomi—despite the cost. Girlfriends, this fast and focused prayer is not not so much about us, as it is about choosing to step out of the whirlwind of our life to see and respond to our sisters with the love and compassion of Christ. As women chosen by God, let’s be intentional about pausing to see beyond ourselves. Beautiful outcomes await!
Thursday, April 21
Girlfriend, you have been chosen!—hand-picked by God to be His friend and His daughter. And while women may have a reputation for talking too much, we have an audience with the King, who loves to listen to us and lavish us with good things. Let’s come to Him confidently and be filled with a joyful expectancy!
